SCALAN is a platform for the secure and transparent deployment of AI agents in small and medium-sized enterprises. It enables companies to create and operate their own AI agents without relinquishing control over connected systems, permissions, data, or costs.
Departments can describe their workflows in plain language and develop them into operational AI agents. If a process changes, the responsible employees can adjust the agent themselves. The IT department centrally defines which systems and actions are authorized, which AI models are used, and who is permitted to create, modify, or publish agents.
All executions are logged and made centrally accessible. Critical work steps can require human approval, and running agents can be paused if necessary. Furthermore, companies retain the choice between different AI models, thereby avoiding vendor lock-in.
SCALAN is primarily aimed at small- and medium-sized companies with 20 to 500 employees. Potential areas of application include sales, marketing, HR, customer service, and procurement. The platform is developed by MTC Solutions GmbH in Munich and operated in Germany in compliance with GDPR.
