Scalan is a platform that enables small and medium-sized businesses to work with virtual AI Employees. A Virtual AI Employee is a persistent, company-trained AI agent with its own name, its own email address and a deep understanding of the company it works for. It handles operational tasks ranges from invoicing, marketing and sales support to HR administration, not by following rigid automation scripts, but by reasoning within context. It knows when to act, when to ask and when to flag something that doesn't add up.

The platform serves two sides. AI consultancies use Scalan to build and configure Virtual AI Employees for their SMB clients. Businesses interact with them through the tools they already use without needing technical knowledge to operate or maintain them.

Scalan targets companies with 10 to 250 employees in the DACH region, where operational complexity is high but dedicated IT resources are scarce. The platform is built and hosted in Germany by MTC Solutions GmbH, Munich.
