Scalan is committed to responsible, permission-based email practices. This policy explains how we use email and how we handle unsolicited messaging. It applies to all email sent from our domains, including scalan.ai.
Our commitment
We do not send unsolicited bulk email (spam). All email we send falls into one of the following categories:
- Transactional and account email: account verification, sign-in and password messages, security notifications, and service-related communication sent to users who have registered for our platform.
- Requested communication: messages sent to people who have contacted us, requested information, or opted in to receive updates.
- Legitimate business correspondence: individual, one-to-one business communication.
How we obtain and use contact data
- We only contact individuals where we have a lawful basis to do so under applicable data protection law (including the EU GDPR), such as consent, an existing relationship, or a legitimate business interest.
- We do not sell, rent, or share our contact lists with third parties for their own marketing.
- We do not use purchased, scraped, or harvested email lists.
Authentication
All mail from our domains is authenticated using SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to protect recipients from spoofing and to ensure the integrity of our messages.
Opting out
- Every non-transactional message includes a clear and working way to unsubscribe.
- You can opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any message, or by contacting us at the address below. We honor opt-out requests promptly.
- Transactional and account-related messages (for example, security or verification emails) are required to operate the service and are not subject to marketing opt-out, but we keep them strictly limited to that purpose.
Reporting abuse
If you believe you have received an unwanted or suspicious message from one of our domains, or you wish to be removed from all communication, please contact us at:

We investigate all reports and take corrective action, including removing addresses from all lists on request.
Enforcement
We monitor our sending practices and reputation, and we take prompt action to remediate any source of unwanted mail. We reserve the right to suspend accounts or sending sources that violate this policy.
